BREAKING: Law enforcement is responding to a shooting at Corewell Health Beaumont Hospital. So far we know one person has been shot and a suspect has not been caught. The victim and suspect are both employees at the hospital.
The EU Summit is taking place in Brussels to talk about the Ukraine-Russia war. President Donald Trump has spoken to both Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Putin about a potential ceasefire.
"We don't want to give the impression we are seeking to decouple ourselves from the U.S.,"German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said regarding the summit.
Trump posted on Truth Social: “Just completed a very good telephone call with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine. It lasted approximately one hour. Much of the discussion was based on the call made yesterday with President Putin in order to align both Russia and Ukraine in terms of their requests and needs. We are very much on track, and I will ask Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, to give an accurate description of the points discussed. That Statement will be put out shortly.”
