Five people rushed to hospital after four cop cars wrecked in crash

FIVE people have been rushed to hospital after a "serious" crash on a busy road involving at least four police cars.

The A1 was closed between J73 (Swalwell) and J75 (Denton) after a multi-vehicle smash just before 2.30am today.
