Olga Ladyzhenskaya Google Doodle ওলগা লেডিজেংশাকায়া Ольга Ладыженская ओल्गा लेडीझेनस्काया.Google honors Olga Ladyzhenskaya. She was a Soviet and Russian mathematician, known for her work on partial differential equations. Ladyzhenskaya was born on March 7, 1922. Her father was an mathematics teacher.But the officials called him an "enemy of the people". In Oct. 1937 Olgas father was arrested and killed. Despite graduating from school with excellent grades, she was denied admission to Leningrad University because of her family name. After Stalin died in 1953, Olga got a second chance. She studied at Moscow State University under the renowned mathematician Ivan Petrovsky. Ladyzhenskaya’s methods for solving partial differential equations remain profoundly influential.
