The X Factor is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The thirteenth series will begin airing on ITV on 27 August 2016. Dermot O'Leary returns to present the main show on ITV for the ninth time, after having quit the previous year. Simon Cowell is the only judge from the previous series to return; Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh will all return to judge the series, with Scherzinger, Osbourne and Walsh replacing Cheryl, Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw, who all departed after series 12.
