Acharya Chanakya comes to meet Dharma aka Shubhadrangi and asks her about the royal ring with her. Dharma replies that Samrat Bindusar had given the ring for her services to him. Acharya is not convinced with the answer and tries to investigate deeper. Acharya Chanakya tells Dharma that years back he had seen a boy, who later went on to be Chandragupta Maurya, and he has seen the same traits in Ashok also. Acharya Chanakya says that the destiny of Magadh lies in the hands of Ashok, hearing this, Dharma becomes very angry and says that Ashok will lead a life of a Brahmin and not a warrior. Having said this, Dharma to leave immediately from there and even after being told that Samrat Bindusar is on death bed, Dharma does not relent and asks Chanakya to leave. After Chanakya has left, Ashok comes and questions Dharma about the reason for Chanakya had come to meet her. Not listening to this, Dharma asks Ashok to get ready to leave from this place with her. Meanwhile Chanakya along with his disciple reaches the palace gates after a long gap of 14 years, he is stopped by the sentry at the gates. Mir Khurasan seeing Chanakya, comes to the gates and tells Chanakya that the great Acharya Chanakya has arrived finally and hearing this, the sentry draws back.
