A man died after a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 695 near Wilkens Avenue on Sunday morning. According to Maryland State Police, troopers responded to the area of the I-695 inner loop at Wilkens Avenue for a reported two-vehicle crash around 2:20 a.m. An investigation showed the victim had parked his truck on the right shoulder and was attempting to change a flat tire when he was struck by another vehicle. Police said the victim had his hazards on and also used a flare. The victim was identified as Junior Dunkley, 67, of Owings Mills, who was taken to Shock Trauma and was pronounced dead. The driver of the other vehicle did not stop and the vehicle was described as a red 2005-2012 Toyota Tacoma. Police said the truck is missing a bumper.
