A man is dead after firing a gun at officers Tuesday morning, prompting a barricade situation in Dundalk, Baltimore County police said. According to police, officers were called around 7:30 a.m. for a prior firearms discharge call in the 2500 block of Gray Manor Terrace. County police said investigating officers were fired upon, returned fire and called for a barricade. SWAT officers, a police helicopter and drones were used as part of the response. Police said officers ultimately found the man dead inside the house from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
