In the shadow of the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge, state leaders gathered with the family members of the construction workers who died. Wednesday morning's emotional and somber commemoration ceremony comes exactly one year since the bridge collapsed. Six Marylanders working on the bridge died. They are Alejandro Hernandez Fuentes, Dorlian Ronial Castillo Cabrera, Maynor Yasir Suazo-Sandoval, Carlos Daniel Hernández Estrella, Miguel Angel Luna Gonzalez and José Mynor López. The ceremony also acknowledged the first responders and all the crews who worked to clear the channel and reopen the Port of Baltimore in just 11 weeks.
