This video illustrates how to modify Doom 3 so it can be viewed on newer wide-screen monitors. Annoyingly, the native settings within the game don't support wide screen. Piece of cake for us modders, right?

Doom 3 is a great game and is available for purchase these days for a song - I paid a mere $1.64 for it off of Steam. Although a bit dated graphically it still packs loads of fun for single players. And amazingly, it ships with a fully functional, powerful and professional game editor; perfect for anyone wanting to try their hand at level designing.
