2024 Huawei Stelato S9 in-depth Walkaround

Huawei and BAIC Automobile have been collaborating on their joint brand 'STELATO' for quite some time. The first car from this series, named 'Xiangjie S9,' has now appeared on MIIT with official images, revealing some key features of this vehicle.

'Xiangjie' is the Chinese term for 'STELATO' (the English name). The Huawei-BAIC developed STELATO S9 EV images are now showing up in the latest regulatory filing of new car models from China’s MIIT Institute.

According to MIIT, the STELATO S9 is an all-electric sedan model available in two single-motor and one dual-motor variant. The single-motor version boasts a maximum power of 227kW, while the dual-motor version includes an additional front motor (supplied by Huawei) with a maximum power of 158kW.

Regarding the battery, the car is equipped with Li-ion ternary and Li-ion ternary+ lithium iron manganese phosphate, supplied by CATL. This luxurious brand is expected to debut in June, targeting overseas markets like Asia and Europe.
