Doom Original [realistic play] - full 1993 classic game - [legendary fps id Software] - [BFG Steam]

[Ending Note: Well that was it folks, the last level of the series. So I think DOOM was a pretty good and interesting game :) Be sure to pick it up and give it a whirl, but I would recommend playing it on the middle NORMAL difficulty, which even that one can be a bit challenging. Played on HARD, the game surprised me a few times and I died without knowing what hit me lol (you can see some examples of that in my recordings) so watch out! :)

Anyway, playing DOOM was a good experience. This is maybe my 3rd time playing it. The first time it was when I first saw it as a teenager. I was pretty blown away by it. The second time a few years ago when I got it back again. And the last time it was for this recording.

To be honest, even though this game is considered a great classic, similar to the other games of the times (from 1993-1997) such as Duke Nukem 3D, Blood and Shadow Warrior with the exception of Quake and DOOM2 (which all the levels are pretty good), only the 1st episode is great in my opinion (probably to get you to buy the whole game hehe). The rest I felt were like 'filler' levels to just have a game. Episodes 2 and 3 of DOOM were not that great or memorable in my opinion. And then they added the last episode, which I think tries to bring the quality of the game up, because like the shareware version of it, every level was pretty good. So I guess they wanted to end it on a positive note and they did. The last added episode is indeed fun to play :)

In any case, it was nice having you on board and I wish you enjoyed my play-through of it and see you in the next game :o)

Being thrust into this life and death simulation of DOOM, I play it as my life depended on it, in a real realistic way - with strategy, skill and speed - the essential 3S's of survival, make that 4 - to survive this experience hehe using the best key control configuration I could think of and played on HARD difficulty (Ultra-Violence). So everything is ultra best-est, and here I go..! So oomph, take that DOOM! Vroom! :D
