Verm here speaking:

PS2 modding is now possible! I've changed sounds of vehicles (to better reflect how they should sound), ported over a PC camera mod (with some tweaks), and had quite a lot of fun!

Camera mod by Aero_, ported to (and tweaked for) the PS2 by me

It was rather hard porting the camera. The camera was the tricky part, as some values couldn't work for the PS2 version of ProStreet (wow). So, some of the position values were taken from NFS Undercover PS2 (since it uses the exact same camera system as ProStreet) to fix it. It still needs major work, but I'm quite happy with it!

The only problem is repacking the game again, which means, the only way the game can work (with these mods) is through an emulator.

It might be possible to theoretically "port" the Collector's Edition cars and the DLC cars (usually using their performance values from the PC version), but the mesh would not be present. With this modding crusade, I also found out that the PS2 version has leftovers for Online Multiplayer, which either Online and LAN were planned for the PS2 version of ProStreet, or they were leftovers from the NG (360/PS3/PC) versions. They might be available on the Wii, but because the Wii version only supports Wiimotes, I doubt it's possible to execute the Debug Menu.

Anyway... enough yapping in the description. Let's enjoy this moment together :D
