Resident Evil 4 went through 4 cancelled builds before startubg from scratch again with director Shinji Mikami taking the lead in developing what was to revolutionize the series. But at the same time, the game changed throughout the stage a ton and even went through much drama in a GameCube exclusivity deal that was about to give out and go multiplatform.
