It's no secret that for a long time, Japan essentially ran the gaming scene. And since Japanese is about the furthest thing from English, it stands to reason that a lot of us missed out on some great titles because we couldn't understand them. Enter: Fan translations! An attempt by the fans to make some of the most obscure and high quality retro games are accessible to the rest of us. Today we'll be looking at some Japan only games on the PS2, PS1, Sega CD, N64, PC Engine, Sega Saturn and SNES. And in terms of genre, well check out everything from RPGs, horror and platformers, to adventure games and visual novels. I'm also being joined by the absolutely awesome @davidvinc!
