Following a tragic loss, a teenage boy quits his favourite sport of ice-hockey and turns away from his friends. When an ice rink magically appears on the frozen lake behind his home, he starts to remember happier times and his healing begins. But after a local construction company purchases the land for development, he must rally the townspeople into fighting for what they treasure most – their lake, their community, their family bonds, and the spirit of Christmas.
