The Japanese archipelago experienced dangerous heat on the 31st of last month. The maximum temperature in central Tokyo is 36.1°C, making it the eighth straight hot day and the second longest on record.
On the 31st of last month, Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture was sunny and hot during the day, but at night, the atmospheric conditions became unstable and the wind started to blow strongly.
