Hackers Attacked STALKER 2's Developers. Here's Why.

It's critical to understand that information wars are fought on all fronts possible, including video games. In an effort to expand the fronts of Moscovia's war against Ukrainians, a group of hackers has performed cyber attacks and stolen artwork and images from GSC Game World in an effort to blackmail STALKER 2's developers into kneeling to the demands of the attackers.

The hackers genuinely believe they can weaponize screenshots and create a poopstorm (sorry, YouTube rules) so messy that would force the cancellation of the entire STALKER 2 project as a result. Of course, leaks never stopped a highly anticipated game from being released, but as is the case with all Vatniks, they merely need to believe in something to think it is true.

We have a saying for behavior like this where I come from, "You wanted to shine but instead got shined on"
