"The Gardener's Son" was a highly-acclaimed 1977 television drama movie written by writer Cormac McCarthy which premiered on PBS's series Visions.

For years, the actual film has been hard to access (though the screenplay is now widely available) as PBS has seemingly abandoned the copyright and it is unclear if Visions ever received a home release. Nor is access available through any McCarthy sites. Back in 2019-2020, a dedicated user of the r/CormacMcCarthy was able to acquire the full film and circulate it. This upload intends to make this material widely available for audiences who would find cultural, educational, and entertainment value in it. Please enjoy!
