The first fatal shark attack of 2023 has been reported. A Manuel Lopez was diving for mollusks off Tobari Bay in Mexico was he was attacked by a #greatwhiteshark .
A spokesman for the angler said the shark took off Lopez head and shoulder.
Great white sharks had been spotted in the area, but Lopez needed to do his job to make money for his family.
