Huge thanks to everyone who made this project possible! Aside from it just being great music, this piece has always meant so much to me, although it is hard to put into words why. Hopefully, the music video can help explain that.
I can't help but feel the narrative of our video here fits well with the scripture we find in Hebrews 11, "having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth." The song of the faithful is a lonely song on this earth. Yet there is a hidden majesty in it that will only be fully revealed in the New Jerusalem. Until then, they play their part faithfully, being unified in the certain hope of the "empire of angels" soon to come.
"But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect..."
