16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Psalms consist of 150 chapters, designed to offer a multitude of comfort as we walk our lives from children to adults. Psalms show God’s creation, his covenants, angels, ministering spirits, his operation, wonders, judgements and promises of Jesus sitting on right hand of God the Father. Psalms addresses sin, faith, works, praise, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, confidence and how its tide to our emotions. Control of your own emotions are key in adhering to the Psalms. For controlling your feelings comes blessing, mercy and grace from God Almighty. Don’t let rage, strife, hurt, sadness, anger, distress, foolishness, boastful and death or dying get in the way of you putting your trust in the Lord. Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. Chapter 4:1. For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man. But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple. Chapter 5:4-7. Psalms gives us a reminder of the Ten Commandments and how the law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. Because there is no speech nor language, where their voices is not heard. Psalms give accounts of how a King should be joyful in the Lord, a Song of Praise, Israel his seed shall serve, the Earth is the Lord, Prayer for guideance, Prayer for help, worship, the soul in the grave, deliverance, how the Lord provides, How the angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, How the Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants, God’s lovingkindness, How a righteous man is better than the riches of many wicked, have not seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread, times of trouble, God is King. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. Chapter 19:7-11 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
